The (kinda) cancelation of stone breaker, Issues, and lessons learned.

A year ago (plus some change) i announced this game, but in honesty I shouldn't have. This game was a stepping stone (pun intended) to help me learn development and that's the issue I'm now facing, It's full of spaghetti code and it's made development really hard hence why I'm going to release the build i end up fixing to my best ability, this build will be buggy.

What is the problem?

The main problem is that I keep fixing one bug to produce 5 more, including things randomly self imploding on itself. I only have two options from here. Either I delay this game again or I do this, It's not fair to put this game in development hell just to fix it entirely.

Plans for release.

I am completely removing any possible revenue I can earn from itch on this game, I don't want to pull the corporate move and keep donations on just to offer a bugged trash heap.

Lessons learned.

I've learned that I should only announce a game I know I can handle, this games blunder is only my fault and I accept any blow my reputation or credibility in developing games takes as punishment for my mistakes for the final product.

The future of bitpixel...

The next game I make won't be announced unless I'm certain I can deliver a good product, as a sorry, my next game will be free with donations allowed. I hope this will make up for this games blunder.

I hope you can give my studio a second chance, actions speak way louder then anything else.
